NMPA issued the notice on the launch of the Cosmetic Ingredient Safety Information Submission Platform on December 30, 2021.
To implement the "Administrative Measures on Cosmetics Registration and Record" and "Regulations on the Management of Cosmetics Registration and Record Materials" and other regulatory documents, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has organized and established the Cosmetic Ingredient Safety Information Registration Platform. Manufacturers or their authorized companies can log on to the platform to submit ingredient safety related information.
Domestic users in China directly log in through the "Cosmetic Ingredient Safety Information Submission Platform" module in the NMPA Online Platform (https://zwfw.nmpa.gov.cn). Overseas users need to log in to the "Cosmetic Ingredient Safety Information Submission Platform (http://ciip.nifdc.org.cn) after opening an account.
After the launch of the Cosmetics Ingredient Safety Information Submission Platform, cosmetics registrants, recorders, and domestic responsible units can still fill in the ingredient safety information issued by the ingredient manufacturer through the NMPA online service platform or fill in the ingredient Code generated by the Cosmetics Ingredient Safety Information Submission Platform associated with the ingredient safety information file.
