The following form might offer you the detailed information on the requirement of each element stipulated in GB15258.

Basic requirements | Location: eye-catching and visible, located at the top of the label. Language: Chinese and English. Name: chemical name/trade name/common name, etc. |
For mixtures | Hazardous ingredients, names, concentration or concentration range shall be indicated. Hazardous ingredients shall not exceed 5. |
Business secret | Ingredients do not have to be indicated, but the hazard thereof shall be listed. |
Pictograms | |
Shape and color | ü There are 9 GHS pictograms: a black symbol on a white background with a red square border. ü For domestic use, the color of the square border can be black, that is, black-write. |
Precedence | Pay attention to the precedence of skull or crossbones, exclamation mark, and corrosive symbol, etc. |
Special occasion | Note that some hazard classifications do not have pictograms. |
Signal words ("Danger" and "Warning") | |
Basic rules | When multiple hazards exist, if the signal word "Danger" is selected, then the signal word "Warning" should not appear. |

Hazard statements and Precautionary statements | |
Content and location | ü Content: choose different hazard statements for different categories of hazardous chemicals in accordance with the national standards of GHS classification. ü Location: below the signal word. |
Precedence | ü All hazard statements shall appear on the label and be listed in order of physical hazards, health hazards and environmental hazards. ü According to different types of hazardous chemicals, choose corresponding precautionary terms: Prevention, Response, Storage, Disposal. |
Special occasion | ü When multiple hazards correspond to the same prevention term, delete the duplicate ones. ü Avoid literal translation, please refer to GB 30000 series and other national standards. |
Other important requirements | |
Supplier identification | The name, address and phone number(s) |
Emergency phone numbers | There shall be at least one 24-hour emergency phone number which is located in China. |
Reference guiding words | Please refer to the chemical safety data sheet. |
Language | Chinese. Foreign languages may also be used with the meaning completely corresponding to the Chinese, and the font size shall be smaller than the Chinese. |
