CNCIC Exhibition at Japan Chemical Substance Management 2019

The 5th "Chemical Substance Management Exhibition" hosted by the Japan Chemical Industry Daily was successfully held at the Yokohama Pacific Convention and Exhibition Center from Sep17~19, 2019. As the only chemical substance management exchange exhibition in Japan, it attracted hundreds of companies from Japan and foreign countries to set booth. The theme of the exhibition involved the safe management of chemicals throughout the entire life cycle from R&D, production, use to disposal, it attracted thousands of industry experts and business representatives from related fields.

 
 
China National Chemical Information Center (CNCIC) has been attending the exhibition for four consecutive years, with booth number M-36.
 
CNCIC Jing Qiao shared the updates on China's chemical substances management regulations on the afternoon of Sep 19. She gave an in-depth interpretation on the latest revision progress of China's new chemical substances environmental management regulations, management of existing chemical substances and disinfectants notification, etc. These topics were highly concerned by Japanese business representatives.
 
After the speech, many representatives came to the booth to exchange ideas and information with CNCIC exhibitors on the supplement to the list of existing chemical substances (IECSC), regulatory revision, SDS and other issues.
 
 
Jing Qiao also introduced the disinfection product notification requirements that the participants concerned about. According to the requirements of "Disinfection Management Measures" and “Hygiene Safety Assessment Provisions for Disinfection Products”, Chinese disinfectant products are classified and regulated by the risks degree based on their usage and use objects. Hygiene safety assessment for disinfectant products of Class I and Class II need to be done by notifier themselves or by a third party commissioned before placed on the market for the first time, only disinfectant products with qualified hygiene safety assessment can be sold on the market.
