47 kinds of new chemical substances supplemented to the IECSC!

The Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued an announcement to supplement the "Inventory of Existing Chemical Substances in China" (hereinafter referred to as "IECSC") on Jan 13, 2020.
 
According to the relevant requirements of the “Measures for the Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances” (MEP Order No. 7) and the “Notice on the Connection of Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances” (Environment Office [2010] No. 123),  MEE organized to review part of New chemical substances been registered, and 47 kinds of new chemical substances that meet the requirements have been added to the "IECSC" and managed in accordance with existing chemical substances. These include 18 new chemical substances registered under the SEPA Order No. 17 and 29 new chemical substances registered under MEP Order No. 7.
 
This is the fourth supplement since the former Ministry of Environmental Protection issued the "IECSC" in 2013. There are currently 151 kinds of new chemical substances added to the IECSC and managed in accordance with existing chemical substances.

CNCIC reminder: Even supplemented in the IECSC, key environmental management substances still need to be notified when the use is changed according to the “Measures for Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances” (MEP Order No. 7) before production or import.
